MEET
SARAH

Sarah Woodson is a proud Colorado native who has spent the majority of her life in Aurora, the city that shaped her, supported her, and taught her the meaning of community.
She knows firsthand what it means to struggle and rebuild: she faced homelessness, started raising a family at a young age, and experienced profound personal loss. She worked her way out of poverty through grit and determination, and those challenges forged her into a resilient, fearless leader with a clear north star. She fights for everyday working people, the underdog, and those too often overlooked or left behind.
Sarah's career has been rooted in service and policy. She owned a pro-se legal document preparation business supporting families through financial hardship, then entered the cannabis industry where she discovered a passion not for politics, but for real policy that changes lives and expands opportunity. That passion led her to community leadership, where she currently serves as Vice Chair of the Aurora Business Advisory Board and on Colorado's Task Force for Drunk and Impaired Driving.

Sarah is running for the Colorado House because Aurora is her home and its people are her purpose. She believes in servant leadership that is accountable, humble, and rooted in community, and she is committed to building a brighter future for House District 42, from the Aurora Mall to the CU Medical Campus and everywhere in between.
